He looked back at the finale as well as the producers' decision to end Lost for good after 48 more episodes, and even offered us a peek into the future before the series returns on Jan. 31 (now on Thursdays at 9 p.m. — set those DVRs!). Netflix to cease offering HD DVD movie rentals

In a win for Blu-ray and a loss for consumer choice, Netflix said Monday it will no longer be stocking new HD DVD movies for its subscribers to rent.

The leading online movie rental company cited "a clear signal from the industry" for deciding to go Blu-ray only, noting that four of the six major Hollywood studios are backing Sony's format. Universal and Paramount are the two studios supporting HD DVD exclusively.

Alexander comes out fighting

Wendy Alexander insisted she would be "exonerated of any wrongdoing" over the illegal donation to her Labour leadership campaign fund.

BYU and Utah television: One giant leap…BACK!

I never thought that I would have referred to the 90's as “the good old days" but now I realize that's just what they are…when it comes to watching the Cougars and Utes on TV. BYU and Utah fans will notice something missing from their television sets over the last month of the season: BYU and Utah! It's like we've tumbled into Doc's time machine and been spit out in the 70's. Yep..the 70's! The 90's were utopia compared to what's happening now. Let me explain;I arrived at KUTV in 1987. From that time, until 1996 one of my responsibilities was to do the Play-by-play for all Utah Football and Basketball games which were broadcast on Channel 2. During that time we did virtually EVERY road game. And at the same time, Craig Bolerjack was doing the games for BYU on another local station. Between us, we had the Cougar and Ute fans covered! In basketball, the trips were paired up in familiar groups.

Is It Too Late for Hillary?

We believe that it's next to impossible for Senator Clinton to close the delegate count," Obama campaign manager David Plouffe told reporters the morning after the Potomac primaries.

Much of the blame, from both within and outside the campaign, has been aimed at Clinton's chief strategist, Mark Penn. "He never adjusted," says a prominent Democrat. "I don't think he knows how to do primaries. He doesn't know how to do what is essentially a family fight." But that explanation misses a larger possibility: that Bill and Hillary Clinton, who came of age in politics a generation ago, no longer have the touch for the electorate they once did.

Now, having blown through more than $120 million, Clinton's campaign is struggling to build a campaign from scratch in Ohio and Texas, with political observers in near agreement that a failure to win both could be fatal.
